Federal regulations require that an individual complete necessary paperwork and be formally appointed to Cornell payroll prior to commencing work.  Please contact the Administrative Manager and Chair’s Assistant as soon as a decision has been reached to hire, but no less than the minimum advance notification period shown in the table above.

WorkDay Timekeeping

All hourly staff and student positions must submit timecards using the WorkDay at Cornell system by 8:00 am on the specified due date each pay period.
